Responsibilities:
•Develop and implement physical data center, office and manufacturing network designs, with a focus on redundancy, high availability, and fault tolerance.
•Architect and design network solutions for cloud platforms, including AWS, Azure, and GCP, ensuring optimal performance, security, and scalability.
•Design and deploy Software Defined Networking (SDN) solutions, with a focus on VMware Velo Cloud.
•Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, product management, and engineering, to develop comprehensive network solutions for clients.
•Provide pre-sales support, including technical consultations, solution recommendations, and network assessments.
Internal
•Create and maintain technical documentation, including solution designs, implementation plans, and best practices.
•Conduct research on emerging technologies and industry trends to ensure our solutions remain cutting-edge and competitive.
•Mentor junior team members and provide technical leadership.
Requirements:
•Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
•Minimum 8 years of experience in network design, implementation, and support.
•Expertise in cloud networking for AWS, Azure, and GCP.
•Deep knowledge of physical data centre networks and best practices.
•Experience with Software Defined Networking (SDN) and VMware Velo Cloud solutions.
•Strong understanding of network protocols; routing, switching and wireless.
•Familiarity with network security principles, tools, and best practices.
•Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
•Industry certifications such as CCIE, VCDX-NV, or equivalent are preferred.
