Job Title: Web Automation  Test Engineer
Experience Required: 3-5 Years
Location: Bangalore (WFO)

About the Role:

Roles and Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites using Playwright, TypeScript, and
JavaScript
• Build and scale automation frameworks to support feature validation and full product
regression
• Define test strategies across the development lifecycle
• Test web applications, authenticated APIs, and write SQL queries for validation
• Use Visual Studio Code (VS Code) efficiently for test development, debugging, and
automation workflows
• Mentor junior engineers on test design, tools, and best practices
• Leverage Windsurf AI tools for structured code and template generation
Skills Required :
• 3 to 4 years of hands-on experience in test automation
• Strong expertise in TypeScript, JavaScript, and Playwright
• Solid understanding of REST APIs, HTTP protocols, and modern web technologies
• Proficiency with Git and source control workflows
• Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
• Experience using VS Code, including extensions for linting, formatting, and test management
Good to Have
• Experience supporting CI/CD pipelines and implementing quality gates
• Familiarity with JIRA for test tracking and Agile boards
• Exposure to cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure)
• Experience with Windsurf code generation tools
• Background in working within Agile/Scrum development environment
